The Tharpe Company was founded in 1981 by John Tharpe, along with a small team of experienced employee recognition professionals. They believed that a new approach was needed to meet the changing recognition needs of corporate America.
In 2007, the Robbins Company merged with the Tharpe Company to form TharpeRobbins.
